How beautiful it is when the dog jumps into your arms! It’s a wonderful feeling.
You feel the warmth of their body, and it makes you want to hold them even tighter!
Unfortunately, not all dogs like being picked up, especially when they have a toy in their mouth, and in our case, there’s always the frisbee. 🙂
But you can work on it, and the result is always enjoyable.
There are various types of dog catches in disc dog, but they all have one requirement.
The dog must catch the frisbee before being picked up in our arms.
In the video, you can see one of the simplest and safest dog catches for the dog, with a two-handed grip and the frisbee thrown very low.
Then there are dog catches in flips, one-handed catches, or vertical ones where the dog uses your body to push off before being picked up in your arms.
But in any dog catch, the bond between you and your dog stands out, with affection and trust.
