Building vaults is an activity that requires a lot of patience.

In the case of the leg vault, you need to sensitize the dog to touch your leg with all four paws, starting with the front paws and then the hind paws.

This way, the dog can get enough push to take the frisbee thrown via a floater.

For a small dog like Diablo, you can also teach them to balance but without overdoing it. This is because it might happen that the dog stalls on your leg, resulting in an awkward movement.

The video I’m sharing is a moment in the preparation where Diablo made me smile. After a few sessions, he runs around me like crazy.

It made me laugh a lot, but in reality, it was his way of releasing the tension he had due to what I was asking of him.

The most beautiful part is the ending. After he lets off some steam, he comes back to me to continue our game.
