In the world of Disc Dog, we discover a deep connection that goes beyond mere play. The extraordinary bond between a dog and its owner is a living testament to attachment. This affectionate relationship has been extensively studied in the human world, but it’s also reflected in the special connection that develops between a dog and its playmate.

Our role is to provide a solid base from which our dog can explore the surrounding world, knowing they can always return to us for comfort and safety.
Dogs, with their intelligence and devotion, are known for forming intense emotional bonds with their owners. For them, being the primary reference is an honor. We are their safe base, and it’s a role we carry with pride.
Regardless of the breed, our love and affection for our Disc Dog companions are paramount. We always aim to express our affection and gratitude when they work hard and do things right. In Disc Dog, as in life, the connection between the dog and the owner is a wonderful thing to nurture and celebrate.
I can’t help but share a special memory: our Disc Dog competition in Piverone back in 2014. In that moment, my beloved Border Collie, Joy, and I shared an extraordinary experience. It was a time when Disc Dog was pure fun, an opportunity to test Joy’s skills and strengthen our bond.
In that Piverone competition, I saw the passion in her eyes as she leaped into the air to catch the frisbee, once again demonstrating how intelligent and agile she was. It was a real display of attachment and camaraderie between a dog and its human friend.
Even though time has passed, and competitions have become more serious, what remains is the memory of that moment of pure enjoyment and how special the bond between a dog and its owner is in the world of Disc Dog.
So, regardless of the level of competition, always remember that Disc Dog is, and will always be, a source of joy and connection with our beloved four-legged companions. Keep having fun and celebrating your special bond with your dogs in the wonderful world of Disc Dog!
