The kick is a very distinctive throw in which we “kick” our beloved frisbee!
It’s beautiful to watch but also challenging to execute.
It requires a lot of coordination, but above all, you must be able to perform a perfect floater to place it at the exact point where you’ll hit the frisbee at the moment of the “kick”!
And as if that’s not enough, there’s also the pressure from your dog!
Personally, it’s a throw I really enjoy, just as I enjoy its variations.
Here, the connection between you and your dog must be perfect. Many would say the dog follows the disc like in a regular throw, but I know it’s not quite like that.
As with the delay, mac, tip, and, therefore, also the kick, the dog watches closely what you’re doing and waits for your signal to retrieve the frisbee.
