The Vault is one of the most spectacular moves in disc dog, but many consider it one of the last things to learn.
To some extent, they are correct. It can be dangerous if not taught correctly.
But what is the Vault?
The Vault is when the dog uses our body as a springboard to catch the frisbee we throw to them.
They can push off from our back, leg, chest, or even our foot. And since this game, disc dog, is a sport where freestyle is the most important part, I leave it to your imagination to invent new vaults! 😉
This allows the dog to “fly” with a significant leap off the ground, and this is where the danger comes into play. The landing, for example, is one of those things to consider.
